My mate Darren joined me for a session on the Ebro this past week. We thought we would try a bit of carp fishing back at my special swim as the carp have shown some signs of life and this spot has always seemed to bring on the big ones as this is where I had caught my p.b carp at 58lbs just a few months back. This turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life as the week was absolute mayhem with the carp showing up in droves with between 50-60 carp coming out one after another but the absolute highlight of the entire session was indeed this incredible 76lb 14oz mirror caught by Darren. I could not help myself but get a photo of me holding this mammoth mirror dreaming of the day when it is my turn at breaking an Ebro record.
